When it turns on, or the input is selected there is normally a second or so of delay then a click before it starts playing sound. A couple of weeks ago it didn't click when I changed the input, but turning it on and off seemed to fix it. Now it won't click at all no matter what I do and there's no sound. This is a very sad day. Anyone know whats up and/or how I could go about fixing it? Perhaps it is time to think about upgrading to a more serious stereo system? I suspect a repair to this system is going to exceed the cost of replacing it. Sorry to hear this - sounds like a dry contact but I wouldn't take any risks. A switch cleaner might help and if you can hear any crackling noises then I would recommend a quick dab here and there. Perhaps other Denon owners will have some suggestions? Some discrete rectifier diodes had beginning cracks but this was not the problem with no sound from the speakers (sp_terminal). Ok?
